looking: for a new house! And I think we not only found a new house but a new roommate as well! I'm super excited about both of them and I'm looking forward to July! Although I will miss one of my current roommate who is getting married and moving to San Diego!
cooking: not that much; my brilliant friends and I have devised a plan that lets each one of us look for the other four one day a week. So basically I'm cooking one day a week but I still have five homemade/healthy dinners a week! It's the best idea we've come up with yet!
listening to: The Western Den. They came up as a recommendation on my Spotify and I'm really enjoying them!
reading: Ruby, The Heart of Prayer and Rich Dad Poor Dad. I really need to finish Rich Dad Poor Dad, it's been three months now.
buying: new clothes! I really need to update my work wardrobe and I've been slowly adding to it for the last few weeks. I even ordered my first Stitch Fix box! I can't wait to see what I get!
missing: my days at camp and wishing I could go back!
struggling: with contentment this last week. It's been far too easy for me to become discontent with my life. I need a reality check and to snap out of this soon!
What's currently going on in your life?
Before I jump into goals for this month, let's look at how I did with last month's goals.
>>financially<< my budget was not my friend this month... or should I say, I wasn't friendly to my budget.
>>blogging<< I think I did pretty well with my blogging goals. I blogged fairly constantly last month and only started struggling with it agian these last two weeks.
>>fitness<< I'm still jogging 3 times a week, but I didn't add any weight training.
This month I want to keep up the jogging and add in some strength training.
>>personally<< I haven't taken enough time this last month to be creative.
>>reading<< I finished one!
In the way of goals, I've had worse months. That's what grace it for right?
+fitness: I think it's time for me to bump up my running goals to 4 times a week! I'm sure I can handle it. I really do need to add in some weight training.
+friendships: I want to continue to build new friendships.
+no sweets: I try to do this at least once a year and I always fail, but so far it hasn't been too bad. I did cheat on Easter, but I felt terrible and really want to see how long I can go without eating unhealthy sweets.
+budget: I've had a budget for years but I have a hard time sticking to said budget, particular when it comes to eating out. So this month I'm going to try the cash system. I think it'll help me with my discipline!
+reading: I finished one book last month, but I really need to get back on the reading horse. I currently have three books I'm in the middle of, I want to finish all of them by the end of the month. Which brings me to my next goal.
+television: I don't want to quit watching t.v this month, I just want to cut back on how much of it I watch. It's too easy to get caught up in a Friends binge watch.
