Day 6// Currently
reading Alias Grace by Margret Atwood. So far I'm not in love. This is a book that's been sitting on my bookshelf since 2010 and I finally made myself pick it up last month. It has been very slow in getting to the point. I will read half of it and if it doesn't get better, I'm going to move on.
eating healthy...for now. I told myself that I was going to start eating healthier for the rest of the year. I was one of my resolutions this year, but so far I've not kept up with it too well. So I'm breaking in my new Ninja, and doing my best to get some foods on the grill while I still can. I'm also trying to watch how much sugar and white flour I eat and it's so hard!
listening to the September playlist of the month. My two favorites on there are Difference Maker by NEEDTOBREATHE and You and I by Ingrid Michaelson.
watching nothing. I have three shows that I watch during the regular season and usually during the summer I just enjoy my freedom from TV. Although I have been resisting the urge to re-watch Once Upon A Time. Elsa's coming and I'm so tempted. I'll let y'all know if I give in to temptation.
planning my trip to Seattle in less than three months! I got permission from both bosses this week to have a week and a half off in December and I'm so excited! I haven't been on a vacation in almost two years and Seattle's calling my name. Plus my sister has lived out there since 2011 and I'm excited to spend some time with her. Perhaps I'll do some job hunting while I'm out there.
feeling exhausted. I just finished working 13 days in a row. This morning I woke up and seriously had no idea what day it was. But it's my day off and I'm so excited to spend it with friends! I think we're going to a drive-in movie tonight!
enjoying the few times I get to chat it up with some of my besties. On Thursday, two of my friends and I used Google Hangouts and we were able to laugh and joke with one another, something that was much needed.
loving this blog-tember challenge! It's definitely been challenging but I'm enjoying "meeting" new bloggers and seeing their passions for life!
thinking that it's time for me to get my guitar restrung. I popped a string a few months ago and I yet to have it replaced. One of my goals is to learn to play it one of these days.
thankful for sleep, days off and roommates who never fail to love me, to make me laugh and tell me when I'm being absolutely ridiculous.
craving a craft night. This doesn't happen often, but when it does I usually spend days on the couch with craft supplies everywhere! However, there are always things that don't get finished, perhaps this will be my first order of business.
What have you been up to? Have any plans for this weekend?
