Goals have always been my frenemy. I love making a list of goals that I want to accomplish. It helps to plainly see what needs to be done and from there I can think about how to achieve those goals. What I'm not so good at is walking the walk. For example, let's see what's leftover from last's months goals.
31 days of pictures:: I started to do this well but I quickly found that sometimes there's not much that happens in my day that's worth a picture, and that's okay. I have been proactive in taking more pictures, which was the goal.
Recipes:: I made two out of three new dishes. Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes and Chili.
Party:: This one, I'm sad to report that I did not complete. I wanted to host a party so badly, but life took over and I worked 25 days straight in October, most of them being nights. So there wasn't really much room for parties.
Books:: my real goal in this area was to finish one of the three books that I was reading and I did! Not only did I read it, I got to shared my thoughts on it last week.
Corn Maze:: no corn mazes for this girl.
So I didn't totally fail at my goals from last month, which is always a good thing. Perhaps I'm slowly starting to get used to this whole goals lifestyle. One day at a time, right? Now, on to goals for this month.
>>my computer<< as stated in a previous post, my computer screen broke last month and I need to get it fixed. I'm no good at putting a rush on repairing the broken so this month's top goal is to at least place my computer in the capable hands of someone who can repair it.
>>guitar<< speaking of repairs, I've been meaning to have my guitar restrung since March... I really am a wonderful procrastinator.
>>party<< since I didn't get to throw a party last month, I really want to plan for it this month! And I've already got a date in mind.
>>blog posts<< I'm slowly starting to get better at posting frequently but I want to be more consistent with my postings. I also want to manage my social media pages better.
>>health<< I know I'm probably starting in the wrong month but I really want to do a better job of eating healthy as well as making sure I'm working out regularly. Perhaps I can stand to step away from the cupcakes every now and then.
I think that's all for now. I don't want to get ahead of myself; after last month, I think it's safe to say that less is more.
What are your goals for this month?
