Congratulations, we've made it over 3/4 of the way through 2014 and this blog is approaching month five! Last month was such a wonderful break from having to come up with topics to blog about. I loved simply answering questions about myself. Now, I'm back with a plan and I'm so excited about this month.
And in order to keep my feet on the ground, I've made a set of goals for the month (I'm trying to take the rest of the year one month at a time). Here they are, my goals for October:
pictures:: I've said a million times that I'm awful at taking pictures but that stops this month. I'm doing 31 days of pictures! Not 31 selfies, just pictures of what's going on that day, things that make me laugh, frustrate me or put a little pep in my step. I'm hoping that I'll start to naturally whip out the camera.
cooking/baking:: I love baking and trying new recipes, but when it comes to cooking, I usually find myself cooking the same three dishes. So this month I'm making it my goal to try at least three new recipes from Pinterest. And there are some I'm already really excited about! I'll be sure to post pictures of the newest dishes!
party:: I will pretty much find any excuse to throw a party and it's been awhile since my roommates and I had a big group over! I'm thinking that October will be the perfect time to dust off our party pants! The possibilities are endless, pumpkin carving party, Harry Potter party, chili party... party, party, party.
books:: I'm currently reading three books right now and I really want to finish at least one of them by the end of the month! I'm also hoping to get a little closer to that goal of reading 25 books that I set at the beginning of the year. Perhaps it's time to rethink that goal.
adventures:: I really want to go to a corn maze. Last year some friends and I went to one and we had a great time. I'm looking forward to going back.
Again, I'm going to keep this list short, in hopes of actually accomplishing everything on it!
What are your goals for October?
