Day 20| Share a day in the life.
So let me just start off by saying that I'm a production assistant, NOT a physician's assistant. Now that that's out of the way, I also what to say that I fully intended to do a photo collage of a typical day at the news station, since I've already done one about being a nanny. However, my life has been a little crazy this week so we'll have to go with a timeline and a few pictures.
9:00am-10:00am// wake up.
10:00am-11:30am// exercise? maybe; shower and get ready for work.
11:30am- 1:00pm// cook lunch and dinner for the day; eat lunch.
1:00-1:45// this is the time where I try to spend reading my Bible.
1:45-2:40// free time; someday I turn on some tunes and do some simple tidying up around the house. most days I just watch tv.
2:45// leave for work.
3:00// get to work and start editing video for the 5 and 6 o'clock newscasts.
5:00-5:30// run the telepromter for the 5.
5:30-6:00// back in the newsroom and finishing video for the 6.
6:00- 6:30// run the telepromter for the 6.
6:45-7:45// dinner break
7:45-9:00// blog for the next day; read; watch Netflix. Duing this time there's nothing to do so it's almost like pre-k free time.
9:00-11:00//editing for the 11.
11:00-11:35// run promter for the 11.
11:36// head home.
11:45// home. get in bed and spend at least 30 minutes preparing tomorrow's blog.
Okay, so it's not a super wild and crazy day. But I love the slow mornings and the "free time" to get a few things done. I really appreciate this job and the experiences it's given me thus far.
What does your day usually look like? Do you have a typical 9-5 or a less common schedule?
