I know I say this a lot, but just in case you haven't heard, I love book/movies/music. And I really appreciate a place that lets me find joy in this three things!
One of the first things I did when I moved to Augusta was found a good used bookstore. 2nd and Charles has been my get away for two years now. In this place I could lose track of time as I go through rows and rows of books and movies.
Yesterday, I popped in for a quick look to see if they had anything new... and of course they did! The first thing I saw when I walked in was the Harry Potter display, with the books, movies, and even some clothing! And I couldn't walk away without getting something. So I picked up the first two movies.
I know what you're thinking, "She had a whole week's worth of Harry Potter facts on her blog and she doesn't own any of the movies?" I know, so I'm a little behind on my HP obsession, but better late than never right?
Looks like I'll be having a mini movie marathon this weekend!
After I tore myself from the HP section, I moved on to the seemly unlimited book section. I was looking for a book someone recently recommended to me. Lucky me, not only did they have the book but it was in pretty good condition and it was under $3!
So far I've only read one chapter and I feel like it was a little scattered. I'll keep y'all posted on my thoughts!
Once I had looked at several other sections, I decided that I could not spend my entire day there and headed out. On my way to checkout the "School Reading" table caught my eye and I saw this beauty!
How could I resist this? I read this book when I was in the 7th grade and I remember really liking it. Now that a movie has been made based on the book, I think it's the perfect time for me to re-read it.
What are some of your favorite thrifty finds?
